Taste the Season is one of our favorite events of the year, not only for the great food pairings and amazing wines on offer but also for the beautiful Fall colors on the trees!
We are currently selling out fast for the Saturdays in November, but why not miss the crowds and come and join us on a Friday or Sunday (the event is on every Fri, Sat & Sun in November!) and spend more time enjoying the scenery and wines available without those line-ups!

Brockamour Manor (circa 1809)
It’s strawberry season in Niagara-on-the-Lake! Strawberries made their sweet & delicious debut in June and will continue their show well into July. Cherries are just showing up at roadside vendors around the Niagara region. We bought our first sweet cherries today at our favourite vendor, Quiet Acres. Also available were garlic scapes, rhubarb, currants, and of course, strawberries! Other great fruits that will be available in July are: apricots, blackberries, blueberries, gooseberries, peaches (we love peaches), and raspberries.
If you are a vegetable lover, July brings beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, garlic, peas, spinach & zucchini. There isn’t much that doesn’t grow here in Niagara! At Brockamour Manor we try to incorporate as much of the fresh, yummy produce as we can into our breakfasts. Every day during the growing season you will find at least one (and usually several) of the local Niagara fruits or vegetables.
In Niagara-on-the-Lake we love a festival and what better to celebrate than Niagara fruit:
Annual Cherry Festival – Saturday, July 6th – fresh cherries, jam, pies & more at St. Mark’s Church, 41 Byron Street – 905-468-3123
Peach Celebration – Saturday, August 10th – Celebrate the peach harvest on the main street (Queen Street) with entertainment, peaches, peach desserts and drinks.
Peach Festival – Sunday, August 11th – Enjoy all things peach and a day of activities at St. Vincent de Paul Church grounds. Noon – 5 pm. 905-468-7272.
